Then every year once or twice. Molting is the process of losing existing feathers and gaining new ones at the same time. At the time of molting birds need lot of nutritious food to help keep up with the loss of energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adult birds take bath daily in general, some does occasionally.
